Idassa in Zadar had a super clean room and an unbeatable location near cool cafes. The staff were super helpful and gave awesome local dining tips. A bummer was the noise from the church bells early in the morning.

Check-in was a hassle since it’s at a sister hotel that’s a bit of a walk away, especially carrying luggage. I faced issues with cleanliness – the bathroom could have used a more thorough scrub, and there were complaints about used toiletries. there’s no lift, making the trek to upper floors quite burdensome with bags. And be prepared for the church bells ringing loudly, which can disrupt your sleep, particularly early in the morning.
